Mo' Money

I just got a raise and it really put me in a good mood. Then I started to remember what happened when I got my last raise. With increased income comes a new budget. Right after I got my last raise it seemed like I had so much money. I was putting all my new income into my savings account in addition to the usual amount I saved. But as I got used to my bigger check, I started to spend pretty much all of it. I think I saved more money last year with a smaller paycheck then I have this year with a larger one. It's very true that the more you make, the more you spend. I thought I would have more self control and would be able to restrain myself, but it is so easy to fall into that trap.
