6 Months Down

Today marks the day that I have been working for half a year. Let review what I have accomplished in those six months from 7 to 3 five days a week:

1)I have helped my boss get richer
2)I have significantly raised my blood pressure.

So that's about it. I've managed to shelter, feed, and entertain myself for those 6 months, but in America that's not all that hard to do (although I like to think that I did it with style). I also put away $150 for my retirement which is nice, but according to my calculations it will take a little more than that to retire.

Some other interesting points:
-If I work until I am 65 years old, then I have complete 1/86th of my working career.
-At my current saving rate, I will retire on $12,750 (plus the interest accrued) or 1/3 of my gross annual salary. NOTE: This figure is misleading since I only started saving for retirement six weeks ago.
-Outside of work I have been much more productive by producing about 50 gallons of alcohol and consuming most of it.
